Question Thanks for the information you sent me. I am not looking for a hostal. I am able to pay up to $125 per night. I do want a hotel in a good location.
If we travel in the summer, must be insist on a room with air conditioning?
Answer Hello again Don
Well 125$ aprox 125€ is not really an adjust budget
so for that amount of money you can find some good hotels.
There is a great offer in Madrid. Good areas with many hotels are around Puerta del Sol (center of Madrid) and Gran Via, and streets at the south of that avenue. Also any hotel in Castellana or Prado should be good one. Also near Plaza de España and Princesa street.
And yes, ask for air conditioned rooms, usually hotels are prepared for that as in summer even nights can be very warm.
You can take a look to some hotels (again i cannot recommend any from my experience, as i haven't been ever in one at Madrid) and once you have chosen between 2 or 3 i could give you my opinion about their location and how they looks like to me.
