Traveling with Children - Traveling with underage child

Expert: Pam Smith - 3/17/2009

Question
I will be traveling to Mexico over spring break with an underage child that is not mine.  What will I need from his parents in order to take  him out of the country?

Answer
You will need a signed and notarized affidavit.  You can down load a generic copy from our website at:

http://www.globaldreamvacations.net/parentalconsentforms.pdf

Be sure that the child also has a valid US Passport as one is required by everyone traveling to Mexico.
