QUESTION: Can you recommend a great place for a relaxing vacation for family 2 kids ( ages 16 and 7)  we live in NC, and only have fri-sun  the day after Thanksgiving.  Want to relax and not spend too much money..  flying i guess is best, will give us more time!  I am open to suggestions!

In order to answer your question, I'll need some additional information from you.  It wouldn't be very helpful for me to just make random vacation suggestions without knowing what your family likes.

What type of vacation are you looking for?  Does your family prefer active vacations, outdoor activities, cultural things like museums?  Do you like to visit cities or do you prefer quieter locales?  What was one of your favorite vacations in the past?

I'm also curious whether you'd consider driving, if it wouldn't take too much time.  You said you don't want to spend much money, but 4 plane tickets can cost a LOT these days.

If you can provide me with some more information regarding your preferences, I'd be glad to offer some suggestions.

QUESTION: Relaxing for us, with a few fun things for the kids, outdoor is good, some cultural, with  only so few days, perhaps a great resort where we can unwind an be together. Yes we can dive,  a short distance, might prefer to fly, just to have more time.  we have enjoyed so many places, hard to say,
