I am looking for a winter vacation for Christmas that me (mom)and my 7 and 10 y/o boys can experience a lot of snow and snow activities at a fairly affordable price.  They are fiercly independent and are eager for lots of fun.  Im in San Antonio texas.  Would be willing to drive or fly.  Can you suggest some vacation spots and/or some web sites.  Thank you.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.  I was sick this week.

We live much further north than you (though we have family in San Antonio!).  We don't have to travel to see snow, so we haven't taken any winter vacations, but here are some excellent resources and articles that offer some great kid-centered ideas:
