Trees/Little Leaf Linden Problems

Up in Northern Vermont where I live we have Japanese Beetles and they are known to defoliate Lindens.  Keep them sprayed with an insecticide of some sort it will help. I have the same problem. The beetles will not totally diminish but you can control them from defoliating the leaves to a certain point.

Japanese Beetles riddle the leafs in summer. Would suggest that may be your problem. spraying tree with (seven) helps my problem when i start to notice .
