Question
My largest redwood tree is over 75 high and about 6 feet in diameter at the base. 3 others are as high but not as wide.  They are lifting the asphalt drive.  My concern is houses surrounding the trees.  Is this cause for removal?  They were planted in 1977.

Answer
I is hard to tell about the situation without seeing the tree location and the driveway I would suggest you contact a local Certified Arborist and ask them for advice. Here is the web link to the Assoc. that certifies Arborist and a list of local ones.
