I live in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and the same thing happened to my tree this year!  It is now in its second blooming, much to my amazement.  This is the first time I have had a magnolia tree in my garden; however, I have never heard of them blooming twice.

Hi, I live in Iowa zone 4 or 5 and have a Magnolia tree that blooms in spring April early May with two or three rounds of blooms then blooms later in the summer at least once maybe twice. Not sure what kind it is but the bloom are a dark pink almost lavender, beautiful tree.

Hi I live in Newbury, Berkshire, England and my magnolia has bloomed twice a year since we bought it, whatever the weather.

I live in southern Ontario and our pink saucer magnolia is blooming again. It had hundreds of blooms in the spring and now, its August and I can count 5 beautiful deep pink blooms. My magnolia has the pods as well in the fall, I just assumed they were seeds but not sure.
