Just how much "wildlife" have you seen in a Hemp plantation. Sure it grows fast but is also harvested fast. A forest is there several decades and the wildlife is as diverse as the species of trees. Sure some species of wildlife will move when the forest is harvested but other species will move in to these young forests and the process will continue.
