Mystery Switch
Mystery Switch
Could you please tell me what this switch is??  It's missing it's knob.  It lives on lower left driver panel and has two wires coming from it.  It turns 360.  Thank you!!!

Answer
Hi Joni,
That looks like an electrical rheostat and there is only one rheostat on MG's and Triumphs and that is for the dimming of the instrument lights. The four flat spade connectors are actually only two connections with two spades on each connection. The wiring should be 14 ga and mostly red wires with possibly a colored strip on one set.
