Triumph Repair - New radios for 1974 TR6

Expert: Howard M. Fitzcharles III - 9/11/2007

Question
Howard, I would like to install a new radio with a cd player. The opening is alot smaller than todays radio's. Shy of cutting the opening and making it bigger, is there any other options that I am missing? Thank you for your time

Answer
Jim, your right, there is not much room. You would almost think this is a sports car, Next thing you will be wanting is roll up windows.

Put one of those multi CD changers in the trunk. (boot).
Don't be cutting too much on that console "A" frame as it is part of the car structure.

Howard
