Subject: can't find information on trombone I purchased

Question
I just purchase a trombone from a mental hospital auction.  It has DAV HAN,
made in france, 35305 inscribed on it.  I can't find anything on the internet
about this instrument.  I would say the case is 40-60 years old.  It is in
excellent shape with just a little finish faded off at the slide handle.  I sell this
to local kids at great prices that they can afford.  I don't know what kind of
quality this horn is.  Thanks for some thoughts on it.

Answer
Hi Michael,

It would appear the name you furnished is incomplete. If you could forward a photo of the bell engraving, and a photo of the whole instrument and case, I could probably give you an idea of its origin and worth.

Thanks,
Colin Murray
