A Bach model 34 was Bach`s answer to the Conn 78H.

It had a slightly smaller bore than the 36. The model 36 has a .525 bore and the model 34 had a .522 bore. Also the gooseneck ( neck pipe) was slightly different, from what I understand. I`ve played a couple of these over the years and they play very different from the 36.

I can answer most questions dealing with Trombone pedagogy and performance. If I do not know the answer to a question myself, I have a number of colleagues I can consult. I can also answer most questions about learning or teaching most brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments up to an intermediate level.

I have a Bachelor of Music Education degree, a Master of Music degree in Trombone performance, and nine years teaching experience as a band director. I have taught students ranging from fifth grade through college level. I have also worked in an instrument repair shop, so I have experience in maintenance and repair techniques for all band instruments as well.
