Question I have a 94 N-14 it runs good for the first 2 or three hours then it starts to cut out only feels like you get half throttle, have both the warn engine light and stop engine lights on. on board diagnostics comes up with 3 flashes 4 flashes and 3 flashes on the stop engine light and that's the only code. please respond ASAP thank you very much
Answer fault code 343 is ECM microprocessor communication error. It has no effect on performance.
step 1 of troubleshooting: check for active fault code 343. Turn vehicle key switch off and wait for 5 seconds; Turn vehicle key switch on, start the engine and let it idle for one minute; then check for inactive fault code 343. if fault is still active, consult a Cummins representative for proper celect ECM troubleshooting.
