Answer A 'healthy' Cummins N14 cooling system is expected to run as specified:
Min. Recommended operating Temp. 70 deg. C or 158 deg. F
Max. allowable operating temp. 100 deg C or 212 deg. F
However, experience indicates that a good running engine N14 will maintain a temp between 82 to 85 deg C or its deg F equivalent.
