Question
valves adjusments steps in N14 cummins

Answer
You have on the accessory drive pulley timing marks A,B, and C or 1-6vs; 2-5vs; and 3-4vs. Rotate the engine in the direction of rotation until any of these alighns with the timing pointer. Check the two cylinders and adjust on the one that has the two valves free.

Follow the instructions on the engine data plate for the intake and exhaust clearance values.
it is better to use a 6-inch torgue meter to tight the screw and lock with the nut to 30lbft.

Regards.
