A customer complains about low power condition on a cummins n-14 when under a load. what would be the most likely cause. An engine position sensor, a faulty tps, stuck waste gate or excessive blow by? and how would you troubleshoot a low power complaint?

troubleshooting a low power complaint is exhaustive. However, you can find answer to the following questions as a guide.
1. Is the low power accompanied by exhaust smoke. If so, is it blue, black or white?
2. Is engine oil consumtion increasing
3. do you have excessive blowby
4. when last did you carry out a routine check on the engine. i.e. C or D check?
5. is the engine overhaeting?
6 is the oil pressure abnormal?
