Truck Repair/ABS Repair on Chevy P.30

Question
Hi Eric. I have a motorhome on a Chevy P.30 Chassis and a 454 Gas engine. My problem is: The ABS warning light stays on due to fact that the sensors and wires were fried when the brakes seized up and overheated the rotors, pads and rims. Is the ABS system likely to be one one fuse? If so can I remove it? I can't afford to have the expensive repairs made. Thank you.

Answer
The system is on one fuse but the indicator light is on a different fuse --- if you are trying to get rid of the light remove the bulb --- the system is deactivated when that light is on --- pulling the fuse for the system does not gain you anything --- it is off and not functioning with or without the fuse.
