Question
Have a 7.3 turbo diesel engine 2003. Does not start, Have tried, New computer, new crank case sender, new engine room wiring, has been in and out of shop, the guys have been great but coming up with no new answers, had to buy another vehicle for work, as this has been out for 6 months any ideas? not sure what to do next

Answer
Hello Kim,
Is the glow plug controller working? And more importantly, if it is clicking, have you checked for voltage on the glow plug side of it?

With the glow plugs disconnected, will it start on either?

Are you using the correct engine oil in it, with NO additives? The injectors use high pressurized engine oil to operate the injectors.

I just last week needed an injector control module replaced. Mine would start, but have absolutely no response to the throttle for about twenty seconds, then gradually increase to normal....every day.
