Question
I have a felony (non-violent) conviction from 11/2004, I,m currently not on any parole or probation. I would like to drive OTR. I would like some feedback on what is the real-deal concerning the trucking industry. Are there schools and companies that accept felons?

Answer
Hello. There are schools that will train you, as well as trucking companies. Go to truckstops or search on the Internet and dig to find out. some will hire if your felony is longer than 5 years, but some will take you after explaining the situation. it will take you a while, but it will be worth it. Good Luck.  Mike
