My husband is interested in starting a dump truck business.  He wants to know were in Texas can you find the best deals on dump trucks?  We are researching before we get into this business, do you have an web sites i can look at?  thanks..

Hi Janette.

My last rig I bought was in Indiana.  I flew up from Florida to get it.  I found it on www.truckpaper.com.  The largest publication for new and used trucks.  Even after the flight, hotel and fuel, I saved money.  Thousands to be exact.

People tend to only look local.  Sometimes dealers will pay for the airfare and hotel when you buy from them.  Just a perk.  You may find a dealer in Idaho with the same truck and specs as a dealer in Dallas, but for $5k less.  I'll hop a plane for that!  It's out there, you just have to search.

I love the truck paper.  Study it hard!
