I have a poss. of sched. II felony from 11/04. I would really like to change careers from construction to OTR driving. I'm 42 years old, not on any parole or probation, and would like to know the real deal regarding trucking with a criminal record. please help? thanks!!!
Answer Hi Bill, I do know that you would not be able to enter Canada. You would have to check with some Trucking Companies about their policy concerning you past record. Most background checks go back 3 years, so you may have to wait until 3 years have past since you conviction. Good Luck. J P
