Question
I am needing to purchase a trumpet for my grandson to keep at home since he can't take his horn in the school bus. I have an opportunity to purchase an Amati Kraslice trumpet which is about 10 years old. It is a model #ATR 311. I can't find anything about this trumpet online - other models yes, but as far as a fair price for a used one, no. Could you give me an idea of what a fair price is. The trumpet looks good and is in the orginal hard case.

Hi Carolyn,
The 311 is a student level trumpet-fair sounding probable biggest consideration
is you may have some trouble with the valve
I might also suggest Schiller Model 78 Silver Plated-Your Price $285 or $39 Less in
Gold Lacquer-Give Jeff a call at Jim Laabs Music 1-800-657-5125 and he can get
into more details I also have the model 74 for even less or can also tell you
about other used Trumpets in your budget
