Question
Hello, my daughter is evaluating several trumpets that have come from a friends family.  One is an "Artist Model" EKBlessing Co.  It has a stamped serial number on the side of the second valve.
# 120655  I think is from 1963?  It's in 'ok' shape, with some flaking of the lacquer, but no dents.  What's the trumpet worth? (roughly, of course)
Many Thanks!

Answer
Hi Jim,

You are correct in the year of manufacture. Blessing Artist models are well built and sound nice. Judging by the condition of the instrument and its age, at the very least you can probably sell for $400+. Since it is an Artist model, not Scholastic, and I haven't seen it sold as much, I feel that interest might be high for the instrument. The instrument was quite popular in its era.

Good Luck.
