Question I found a trumpet, it is possibly a cornet, the model is Ambassador, with the serial number 99089. Can i possibly find out what year it was made and how much it is worth?
Answer Hi Jared,
The instrument that you own is an Olds Ambassador built in 1954 by the F.E.Olds company. The Ambassador line is their student model and are, arguably, the best in terms of durability and sound quality. The sell regularly for $200 to $400 depending on condition.
Good Luck.
