Question
I am looking at getting this horn for my son, He now has a Yamaha 2335 student horn, He has been playing for 2 years now and really seems to like it.
This horn has the Najoom lead pipe and is ser# 55xx the factory said it was a 460 bore horn but it is stamped 462???

Robert, The key to the question is the Najoom lead pipe. It is a different horn than the normal Classic model. The bore is .462 and it is a model 262-1 or 262-2. Here is a link for the details on Brass Review: http://www.brassreview.com/reviews/showproduct.php/product/2613/sort/8/cat/110/p...

I am familiar with most trumpets, cornets, and flugelhorns. I can answer most questions about playing and musicality. I have played since 1965 and studied with many directors and trumpeters. I have been collecting since 2002 and have over 150 horns in my personal collection. I have done repair and refinsh since 2003 and have done work on over 900 horns.
