Question QUESTION: I will be in Fethiye on 8/22. I want to go to Cappodocia/Goreme. How do I get there? I would like to arrive early to schedule a balloon tour.
Then I need to leave to arrive in Ankara for a 2:45 PM flight on 8/24. How do I get to Ankara? Is this timing workable? Thank you
ANSWER: Fethiye to Cappadocia: Night bus or plane from Dalaman via Istanbul.
You can not ctach the balloon flight on arrival so has to ne the next morning. ballooning pick up is about 04:30 am.
But to go to Ankara Airport to catch such flight at 2:45 means if its domestic flight you need to be there 1 hour earlier. Very thight...
If you plan well right after ballooning you need to take the bus.
To me timing is very very thight if you plan to travel by bus.

As written on my profile I am not able to help with buses as there are so many and usually their web sites are in Turkish. Plus webs may not be updated.
I know from Ankara Nevtur, Goreme Seyahat, Kent, Metro runs to Cappadocia.
Also from Fethiye you may Try Metro, Nevtur or Nevsehirliler ( same company) Kent and bus stations are places to buy tickets and starting point of the journey. Usually no well advance bookings.
