Question
Hi, I was wondering if you can give me any information regarding my fiance coming to stop with me for a holiday, he don't want to come and live here, he wants to come for a holiday to meet my family, he has met my parents and 2 of my 4 children, i have been with him now for 12 months and eventually will marry and then i shall go and live with him in turkey, but as i said we want him to come england just for a holiday, please can you help?

Answer
Hi Deborah ,
Very sorry there is nothing I can do to help .Every year there are thousands of woman who met Turkish men on holidays, stay with them, then of course either want them to meet the family or go and live in their countries together.
You both have to apply to the British Emöbassy in Ankara for a visitors or Holiday visa . If you go onto their website for Ankara you will see all the info and forms that you will need to complete for your fiance can get his visa. This does take some time to complete the process and if he is from the coastal region of Turkey he may be able to do this at the Fethiye consulate or similar . Again they have details on the British Embassy website .
Be very thorough in your paperwork and be prepared for possible dissapointment as Embassy staff have difficulty obviously telling genuine relationships apart from the thousadns of holiday romances they see each year .
Good luck ,
