Hi - i am backpacking around turkey in august for approximately 20 days.
I have a basic itinery in mind but having trouble with how long to stay in each place because i don't really know what is there to see or entertain.
my basic itinery includes, istanbul, galipoli, ephesus, cappadocia, a blue cruise (3 nights) from faiythe to olympos plus a few nights in olympos. as i have 20 days to travel, how long would you recommend in each place and also is it possible to travel around all these places by bus?
i am then heading off to greece (any advice of how to get there best)

I advice you to stay;
Istanbul 7 day, (a very big metropol full of with history and natural places worth to see)
Galipoli (Gelibolu) 3 day,
Ephesus (Efes) 2 day,
Cappadocia (Kapodokya) 2 day,
Blue cruise 3 day,
Transportation and rest in olympos 3 day.

From Turkey to greece you can have ferry at least between below given places:

From bodrum to Kos island,
From Ayvalik to Midilli,
From Cesme to Sakiz,
From Kusadasi to Samos,
From Marmaris to Rodos,
