Answer
Hi Rachel,

I assume you're getting married in Turkey in which case you'll probably need to visit the British consulate at some point. They are really the only people that can advise you but you might get some useful pointers from these websites;
http://ukinturkey.fco.gov.uk/en/visas/
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/ukresidency/citizensofturkey/
http://www.ingilterevizesi.biz/?gclid=CJ3CpJSP_5oCFVATzAoddH9WoQ (Turkish)

There is no way that I know of to make the process quicker or easier - indeed the British Consulate is renowned for being difficult if it chooses to be. You have to follow the guidelines provided by the Consulate or Embassy carefully as failure to produce documents required may result in refusal and, once you've been refused, it's even more difficult to apply again.

I hope the links are useful.

I have worked in Tourism, PR and property consultancy in the Bodrum area since 1995 and am presently involved in assisting foreigners with a wide range of legal matters via an established firm.
