Question
Hi Murat,
We are traveling by car from Bodrum to Istanbul.  We only have 2 days and 1 night to do it. What is a good half-way stop for us to overnight? We would like to see Ephesus and Troy..

Answer
Hi Heleen,

From Bodrum to Ephesus is about 2,5 hours. Visiting Ephesus at least 2 hours than drive on. probably you can do till Troy area. Breaking the way at Edremit or Ayvalık. If you can not make it till than Pergamon is an option to overnight.

Other suggestion I would point is; en route to Ephesus, visit Didyma, Miletus, priene in the morning, comlete Ephesus and environs than overnight in ızmir and continue next day Troy. Though will require an early start of the day !

Have a nice journey,
Murat
