Question Hi Mark. I am an owner of two baby Red Eared Sliders. My friend and I both
got a pair of them last year. Her turtles have grown nearly 4x the size of
mine. We are feeding the same food, and our tank setups are pretty similar.
Mine are still the size of 50 cent pieces, which are the size they were when I
got them. Any help would be great.
Answer Good question. There is not a lot of detail here to work with. You say you are using the same food- are you using the same amount? You say the set-ups are similar, but not how they are different.
Stunted turtles are usually not growing because during the key times, they did not get enough of the right kind of food, or their housing was too small, or the temps were too cold. I am not sure what based on the info provided.
