Question
Are ATVs such as Yamaha Rhinos street legal in St. Thomas.  They are equipped with all lights and signals.  Since the speed limit is so low, we were considering this mode of transportation for our 20 yr old.

Answer
Sorry Hilda, I haven't seen any ATV's on the streets or beaches so I'm just not sure.  I could only guess that you could check with the local PD to find out if one would be okay as well as how you would go about transporting one to the island.  I'm sure you would have to pay road tax on it, along with customs, etc.  Best of luck. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful to you.
