U.S. Virgin Islands - Milk

Expert: Susie Rano - 1/14/2009

Question
We have visited the islands and bought milk off of the shelf and would like to know how the milk is preserved. Thanks have a great year

Answer
Milk coming from St.Thomas Dairies is simply "Powdered milk" processed.  All other milk is brought onto the islands in refridgerated cargo.  You might want to get a good milk like MacArthur, which is from the states.  Anything BUT St.Thomas Dairies is good wholesome milk from the states.

Kind regards-
Susie
