Answer Hi Martha- The only hospital in St.Thomas is the Schneider Regional Medical Center. You can contact them at #340-776-8311. Their website is www.srmedicalcenter.org. And yes, the bus stops on the corner.
As for the single life, I wouldn't know. I've been married my entire time in St.Thomas. You might want to check out www.vimovingcenter.com. They have a very active message board and could probably answer your questions in regards to the single life here.
