U.S. Virgin Islands - NA beer

Expert: Susie Rano - 2/19/2009

Question
We have rented a yacht from CYOA, arriving this Saturday, February 21, and
plan on shopping for supplies at the Pueblo store near the marina.  I have
been unable to find out if there is a supply of Bush or any kind of NA (non
alcoholic beer) available at this store.  My husband does not drink any
alcoholic beverages, therefore I would like to make sure there is a supply at
this store so we do not spend time going to several store picking up a case or
two at each store.  I am looking to purchases at least 6 cases for our bare
boating trip, because I am not sure if it will be available in the British Islands.
Thanks for you help,
Irene

Answer
Hi Irene-

I called up Pueblo, (which is now known as World Fresh Market), and was assured that they DO sell NA beer.  I don't know what brands they carry, but they do have it.  CYOA is also very close to the downtown area.  Once you arrive, you may want to call the A.H.Riise Liquor store or try Dazzlers/Dynasty.  Both of which should offer a selection of NA beers.  I also believe they deliver for free so ask to verify.

You'll definitely want to stock up on all your food and beverages while in St.Thomas since I've heard it's considerably more expensive in the BVI's.  Let me know if I can be of further help to you.  Good Luck and have a wonderful time!

Respectfully,
susie
