Question My boyfriend and I are planning an extended stay in St. Thomas (a month or more). We've also recently adopted three pit bull puppies and I'd love to know if it's possible to bring them with us. He has a home there so there's no worrying about that but I'm not sure what the requirements are.
Answer Hi Aisha-
For your three furry baby boys, I believe you need to have them get a check-up by your local vet. There's a paper or something for a clean bill of health the vet needs to sign/attest to, for them. I also think this needs to be done 24-48 hours just before you leave for the island. I suggest you call your local vet and verify exactly what needs to be done and within what time frame. Also of course, check with the airline you will be flying, as to what the costs and requirements are. Let me know if I can be of further help to you. Have a great weekend.
