U.S. Virgin Islands - relocation to Virgin Islands from USA

Expert: Susie Rano - 5/17/2009

Question
My family and I are planning to relocate to the Virgin Islands. What is the availability of 2 to 3 bedroom houses (not condos or apartments)for rent? We are looking for something that is in the price range of $1200 to $1400 a month.

Answer
Hi Thomas-

It will probably be difficult for you to find a 2-3 bedroom house for that price range.  Actually, not to discourage you, but it might be a bit hard to find a 2-3 bedroom apartment in that price range.  I do, however, suggest you check out the website www.vimovingcenter.com.  They have lots of info for people relocating.  They also have a very active message board where you can post questions.  You can also post that you are looking to rent a home, and mention your price range.  Lots of locals are on those message boards.

Hope this helps.  Good luck to you.

Regards,
Susie
