U.S. Virgin Islands - 1-nite accommodations?

Expert: Susie Rano - 9/18/2009

Question
Hi Susie,

We would like to spend 1-nt on St. John and 1-nt on St. Thomas to quickly familiarize myself with the islands.  This will be following a 2-week sail of the BVI's in December.

I am having trouble finding any accommodations for less than 3-night minimums or any availability during the peak holiday season.

Any suggestions?  It doesn't have to be anything special.  Just for two people to crash.

I appreciate your time.

Micheale

Answer
Hi Micheale-

I can't imagine why any hotel would not allow you to stay for just one or two nights.  Try www.vinow.com.  There is a wealth of info on the site.  There is also an active message board on www.vimovingcenter.com as well as www.vinow.com.  Perhaps you can pose your question there and someone will be able to help you out.

Good luck-
Susie
