Question I am looking to find work and housing in the Virgin Islands. I would like to work in Retail/Food/Hospitality, and find someone to room with, or get more information on housing there, that is cheap.
Please let me know. I would like to essentially be out there by the end of August 2007.
Thanks!
Answer Finding a job or housing without being there is next to impossible. You could subscribe to the local paper, but then they would still want to interview you.
My suggestion is to have enough money to live a month at least and go there. Go to Danish Chalet Inn or Miller Manor as they are the cheapest nightly rental. The next day look for a local paper (free) and go through the ads. A car will be essential for getting around the island to find a job or housing.
