Question Let me start by saying that I am a believer in other life forms than the human
race, what those are I'm not sure so this is a subject of interest to me.
Having said that, as I was reading your Q&A I noticed that you seem to get
slightly defensive about the claims of aliens coming and harming the animals.
Saying the Priest that witnessed a scorpion-like creature sucking the blood
from a cow, was a liar. Now to me that seems a little unfair... As far as I can
tell all of your knowledge comes from your personal experience, with little
proven fact. So my question is how can you call this man a liar if he is just
providing an account of his own personal experience, with little proven fact as
well??
I hope this did not come off as offensive because I do have respect for what
you are trying to do, I'm just curious how you decide who is credible and who
is not.
Answer Hi, Jennifer. I am not offended by you. Your question is reasonable and delivered fairly well.
Nobody knows everything about anything, but experience gives us a gauge. The greater the experience, the greater the gauge. Humans tend to assume that just because they know nothing about a subject, that means that anything and everything is possible about that subject.
I have enough experience with the visiting alien races to know them well enough to be able to know more things about them than the people who do not know the aliens but just read and hear a lot. For instance, if you told me that you witnessed a scorpion-like creature sucking the blood from a cow, I would know that you were lying just the same as if you told me that you witnessed my mother sucking the blood from a cow.
If you insisted I should believe you just because I do not know all the aliens, I would still not believe you just because I don't know all the mothers either. However, many other humans would believe you because humans like to choose the most exciting and popular things to believe.
Furthermore, no matter how many people told me that thousands of people witnessed a scorpion-like creature sucking the blood from a cow, I would still not believe it because of the great deal of experience I have with humans. I have also witnessed thousands of humans repeating that thousands of humans have witnessed the most exciting and popular things they hear about subjects they know nothing about.
Unfair? Slander, gossip and misrepresentation of a people. Propaganda, prejudice, racism, discrimination, disinformation, framing for crimes and forcing compliance by threats to harm family and friends.
