On a few occasions I have experienced something very similar to that person. That is, abruptly waking up during the night to find that I feel a presence in the room and that I have been paralyzed. You said that this is the typical experience of the beginning of an alien encounter.
The problem I have with it is that the presence I felt in the room did not feel benevolent at all. I have never actually seen this being or this presence, whatever it may be, but I often had the impression of malevolent blackness. I am what you may call empathic or psychically sensitive and the feeling of oppressive darkness and malevolence coming from this entity was rather unmistakable. I cannot prove this but I felt like it was trying to cause a high level of fear, like perhaps negative emotional energy is its food.
I have read much of what you have publically said about the alien races which visit Earth and I have some doubts that this is like what you describe. I suspect that it was more like a demonic attack. I don't know if these are "demons" in the strictest theological sense of being fallen angels. I suspect that there are nonphysical or noncorporeal beings that are parasitic in nature in that they feed off of the emotional energy of human beings. Such beings seem to encourage fear and strife and conflict in order to secure their food supply. They operate on the level of your thoughts, on the "thinking to yourself in your native language" level. They can give you a thought and they then agree with that thought and you think it's your own idea unless you have discernment.
You especially see this when you realize that most human beings on Earth are not fully themselves. They are compromised by beliefs and other forms of programming that someone else put there, as opposed to carefully deciding for themselves what they do and do not believe.
This is very much in line with what the Bible says about "we struggle not against flesh and bone, but against powers and principalities..." For me, understanding that they really "know not what they do" was the beginning of true compassion. That was when I understood that the angry, fearful, controlling, manipulative, degrading people I see everywhere, whose only concept of love is based on need and thus makes a mockery of true love, is not our natural state at all. I came to see that they were systematically conditioned to be this way and that the pain they experience of being so out of touch with our true nature, which is pure Divine love, is far worse than anything I could ever do to them (back when I was a more angry person and would sometimes retaliate by insulting or degrading them in return -- that was my own ignorance). You cannot see how they suffer and understand why without also forgiving the wrong things that they do to you and sincerely desiring something far, far better for them. To me this sort of thing is exactly what Jesus meant when he talked about the "mote" and the "beam".
I think it's just that most human beings are unfortunately so compromised and so ignorant of this that the negative entities feel no need to directly attack, in much the same way that corrupt despots prefer bribery over direct force even though they are willing to use direct force. When you stop participating in the "dominate or be dominated" way of life, it seems to pose a threat to them. When you no longer want to control or dominate other people, you also lose the weaknesses that other people would use to control or dominate you (in much the same way that you cannot cheat an honest man, because he never expected to get something for nothing). Living in this state puts the lie to the fear-based way of life that is currently enslaving this planet and holding back our progress.
When something comes up on me when I am asleep, invading the privacy of both my home and of my bedroom, it is difficult for me to believe that this is not a hostile act. Most other creatures on this planet feel this way -- if someone walked into a bear's den and approached the sleeping bear, they would almost certainly be attacked and the bear would feel that it was acting out of self-defense. What bothers me the most is that the first time this "sleep paralysis" (more like "wake up to find you are paralyzed") happened to me, I could barely even move my mouth enough to say "Jesus!" but the moment I did, it was gone. The time after that when it happened, I no longer had any fear of it and instead I felt a powerful righteous anger, because I felt extremely invaded and violated by this entity. I then found that I could break out of the paralysis myself, that it's not the powerfully oppressive force that it seems to be but is really more like some kind of trick. When I discovered that, I immediately jumped up and lunged at this presence (that I never actually saw) and I was prepared to destroy anything I got my hands on. The moment before I could get within arm's reach, it disappeared. After that, this entity, whatever it is, has mostly left me alone, as though it wants an easy target and is not equipped to deal with someone who is willing to offer resistence. Since then I have had one minor paralysis-type of attack that happened during a dream, but they seem to have given up the more direct approach of actually coming after me in my bedroom.
I do not fear these things and have not feared them for some time. In fact, I believe that fear is the worst response to the negative entities that you could ever have, for it seems to empower them. For all of their efforts to appear big and powerful, they seem quite feeble when you don't fear them, as though they have no power over you except what you give to them.
I guess my questions for you are whether these alien encounters (likely out-of-body or otherwise nonphysical) are the only known cause of that sort of paralysis. If they are, then perhaps the aliens themselves don't paralyze anyone and the paralysis comes from the body remaining asleep during what is actually an out-of-body experience. However, if this can only be the aliens, then I seriously question why their presence would feel so malevolent and downright evil.
If they deliberately paralyze us, what good reason could they have for doing so? Do you believe that we can so easily mistake a benevolent entity for an evil one, even on the level of feeling the vibrations that come from it? I have never known my empathic abilities or the vibrations I feel from other beings to be wrong or inaccurate in any way, they in fact seem like the kind of thing that can't be faked. If beings other than the aliens are known to produce effects like this, are you willing to speculate on who those beings might be or what they might want? I am willing to admit the possibility that I may be too quick to think of this as "demonic" in nature, but to disregard such a well-founded conclusion, I am going to need some very good reasons indeed.

Your extra commentary as testimony conflicts with the interest of my work and the method of this site, but I will allow your post as an example of common popular opinion being based on what people hear instead of on personal experience. Please become self-aware of bigotry, slander, gossip, prejudice and discrimination. Please become aware that these things in personal practice are what make world-wide professional propaganda so successful.
Based on everything you said, it sounds to me like your experiences with sleep paralysis, your entire view of alien life, your confusion over negative forces and the connection you have drawn between them all are caused only from all the things that you read, and not from anything legitimate to you. I cannot say in fairness that you are making it all up.
Nobody is attacking you. And you have made yourself unapproachable and inflexible for any reason. If you were born with the opportunity for alien contact, you have fixed that.
It is not my position or intention to convince you or anybody of anything. I just offer what I know and understand based strictly on my own experiences and teachings with the organization of visiting races and other kinds of beings. I care very much about what some people think, but not everybody. And when certain people are determined to think a certain way, there is very little I can do about that and I prefer to apply my time and effort where it is productive instead of on baseless stubborn debate.

Many things can cause temporary paralysis and/or the sensation of it.
Sometimes the alien people paralyze their human contacts so that they don't hurt themselves or others. Sometimes it is to make them hold still physically and mentally so they can be conscious and pay attention to what is happening so that they can remember it. Sometimes it's just the human's natural perception of being deeply asleep by body while fully aware by spirit at the same time.
There are no evil demons.
To suddenly see someone who is horrifically disfigured makes us react by instinct, mind and body, in a horrible way. But we do not, or should not, consciously judge a person's character or intentions by his looks. And once we get more familiar and used to the bad way somebody looks, the less we even notice it anymore. The greater number of differently disfigured people we are exposed to, the less another new one affects us.
All races of worlds have their own appearance. Some are somewhat similar to others and some are vastly different and unique. Even more than that, every race has its own sensation of life force, which is apparent in their presence and telepathy whether they are invisible to us or not. They don't all feel good to us the same way flavors don't all taste good to us. Just because a person looks bad doesn't mean he IS bad, and just because a person feels bad doesn't mean he is bad.
Just the same, just because a person of another race can visit us out of body and may feel very pleasant to us, it doesn't mean he is an Angel, but many humans assume this too. Many times people just read something somewhere or EVERYwhere and decide to believe it because it's the popular thing to read and believe. Few people even realize they have the option to find out the truth for themselves.
