Question
Hello paul, just bought the above, the engine warning light and the coolant level light are both on,  firstly where can i find the sensor and secondly would this affect the performance of the car as it is very slow as if it hasn't got a turbo and struggles to reach 70 mph
any ideas
Eric

Answer
Hi Eric, have you had a scanner plugged into the diagnostic connector to find out why the engine light is on, as the two are not connected. the coolant tank has a small black probe in the bottom of it but on the outside and is very easy to change, it will slide out and disconnect the plug. Theses sensors fail all the time and as long as there is enough coolant in the car it will be fine. As far as engine performance goes, until you check the reason for the engine light (it could be absolutely anything) you will not know as some reasons are detrimental to the cars performance and some are not - keep me posted - Paul
