Question Hello, i own a P reg megan, and the other day it got stuck on about 2000-2500 revs, but when in gear it works as normal. its like using an automatic, i dont have to touch the accelerator when going under 20 MPH. Please help, people keep reving at me for races.
Answer Hi Nicky, it sounds to me like the throttle is stuck open, possibly a trapped cable. this is something a garage would have to look at or at least someone with a little experience with cars. they would need to locate the throttle arm and see why it is sticking open. If you cannot do this or don't know anyone that can, then take it to a garage, the fair ones will not charge you a great deal. - Paul
