Expert: Craig Thomson Date: 10/6/2006 Subject: how to clear search memory option
Question i was wondering how you can get rid of the option of a search engine where everything that was entered beginning with the first letter you type comes up: for example if i type f on the google search engine a list of things beginning with f i previously searched for come up ?
Answer Hi mark
Try deleting your history and temporary Internet files that should stop that happening.
Go to control panel then Internet options.
click the general tab at the top of the next window
click delete cookies
Next click delete files and click ok
last click go to to the history part just under then part you were at and change the days to keep in history to 0 and then click clear
that should solve the problem and clear up a little but of space on your hard disk at the same time.
