Subject: which sites to trust

Question
First of all thanks a mil Craig, truly appreciated.
I wrote to you because you seemed to be the only listed who could answer such a question as mine, even though the UK was part of your profile. I should have mentioned therefore that I do not reside in the UK so my information would not need to be specific to UK sites but rather international sites.

About the hardware, sorry again for not being specific here either, what I was hoping for was not reviews nor prices but rather sites wherwe one can ask questions--troubleshooting (the same goes for everything else--I am interesteds in How-to--> How to fix this and that, how to troubleshoot this and that, how to improve this and that, how to hack this and that (legally)

Thanks again

Question -
With so many sites one can not help but wonder which sites could be trusted.
I am interested in knowing (having) a possible list of web sites regarding questions one may have about -1- computer hardware and peripherals and drivers -2- ADSL (speed etc. -3- product comparison (In this case I hesitate to go to a site like zdnet since they have their advertisers to please and was wwondering where else one can go. -4- hacking-->by this I do not mean how to get password or illegal material but rather legal stuff or information on it.

thank you

Answer
Hi Michael

Not really good with non-uk sites but if you want to ask questions try forums or newsgroups or joining groups in yahoo groups or google groups e.t.c

You can also find lots of chat rooms try an expert in a field closer to where you live because i'm not sure what sites are good around your area.

Hope that helps
From Craig
