Question Hi, I am currently attending college in the United States and plan to move to England possibly after I get a two-year general degree. I was wondering if an American degree is even worth anything over there or if I would have to go back to school again. Also, do you have to be a citizen to attend U.K. schools?
Answer You do not have to be a UK citizen to attend UK Universities, you can go to the University as a foreign student in the UK which is very common.
It depends what the degree is in, and what you want to do with it as to how useful it will be/how much worth it will have. In terms of your degree, a two year general course mostly likely wont be worth us much as a more concentrated 3 year UK course. However you might want to look into perhaps doing a conversion course from your American degree, into 1 or 2 particular subjects. You will have to contact Universitys individually about this.
Hope that made sense
