Experience
Past/Present clients: Many and various, never on a professional basis, as I consider the experience I have (along with my age) has given me wisdom and should be freely available. "Freely receive, freely give" I am married with two grown-up stepsons, one of which has his own family with four sons. I have been on counseling courses and have varied experience in the workings of the human psyche, been involved on different levels in supporting and helping others with problems, I can often operate on an empathic level. Organizations I belong to: I attend a local church which has proved invaluable in continuing my experience in relationships.

Question
Hello.  I have a Christian male friend who used to have his own social group. Sometimes he and some of the people in his group go out for dinner or touring.

He likes to see women with their shoes off.  Every time I see him, he has me take my shoes off and takes a picture of my bare feet. He did this with another women  when we got together once.  For Christmas, he gave me a calendar and a pair of socks.

I'd hate to think I'm stimulating someone with a foot fetish.  Do you think this is too weird a relationship?

Thank you for your assistance.

Answer
Hi Jean, what du think, u have answered ur own question, yes there are people who "get off" on seeing women's feet and taking photos of them.
You mention: "who used to have his own social group"
Why doesnt he have one any more, have they "seen thro him" and abandoned him?
So u mite well be:
"stimulating someone with a foot fetish"
"Do you think this is too weird a relationship?", yes I do, u can politely decline when he asks u next time, keep him as friend by all means, but dont pander to his whims.

Thats it, let me know how u get on, and pray for him, as he needs prayer, I wonder if his pastor knows about his "problem.
