Question
I have just bought a newly built apartment.  It was fitted with various "new" kitchen appliances amongst which is a clothes washer.  There is a fault with this machine but it now transpires that it was supplied to the developers over two years ago: we bought in October last.

is there any liabitity against the suppliers, developer or agent, or we responsible for the repairs?

Answer
You say you have "just bought" and you bought "in October last".

You have a contract with the developer. He supplied kitchen items to you so they should be of satisfactory quality (Sale of Goods Act 1979).

The supplier or manufacturer may have issued a 3-year warranty. Check.

The agent is not relevant.
