Question Hello,
I was wondering if you could help me on a question I was asked by my tutor? I am studying law at Queens University Belfast and the question was...
If a couple are performing an act of oral sex in a car but have made every effort to be discrete but are seen by a member of the public and reported what are the criminal penalties for this? My tutor has offered a £10 note for the person who answers this correctly and as a student I would very much like to have that money especially from him.
Thanks in anticipation

Answer The penalties are many, but I think the most likely is:
'Behaviour likely to cause a Breach of the Peace' - no crminal penalty, but a 'bind over to be of good behaviour'
alternatively:
Insulting behaviour - results in a fine, or more commonly, a bind over
Outraging public decency - also normally a monetary penalty
Indecent exposure - fine
