Question Sorry if this is not in your field. I am hoping you might have appropriate contacts who could help.
I need to know on what grounds I can take my employer to tribunal. I have not been sacked, but they have basically ignored me as if I were no longer an employee, plus various other omissions.
Do I actually need to resign in order to go to tribunal, for constructive dismissal, or can I go without resigning, for (implied) unfair dismissal?
Many thanks.
Brian
Answer Outside my field, but in your position I would do one of the following:
If you are a member of a Union, contact your local steward
Contact your local Citizen's advice bureau (no. in Yellow pages)
Contact the Equal Opportunity Commission (www.eoc.org.uk)
Contact a Lawyer who specialises in Empoyment law (nos. in Yellow pages).
